EVL MFA alumni, Sam Thongrong exhibits his latest work “CanvasTIQ” at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design, February 2009. This work involved building and modifying hardware to create an electronic canvas for museum goers to intuitively ‘paint’ in real-time.
The system hardware includes:
- Wacom Intuos2 9x12 Tablet
- Dell 1503fp Monitor
- 16x20” ready-made Ampersand Hardbord Canvas
Sam’s current work also includes designing and modifying hardware, to be used as a tool for live performing art and animation.
