When the player succeeds in hitting the ball, the paddle changes color momentarily.

In Multiball mode, the player must attempt to keep three balls under control. Here, all three balls are heading toward the player, as indicated by the particle trails behind them.

Only two of the balls from Multiball mode remain, and the Fireball and Missle powerups have been released.

The winning combination of Multiball and Fireball is active here. Notice the yellow color of the three balls.
