Please do not simply click on the video download links, as this will result in a sub-optimal video watching experience. For best results, please right-click on the video download links and save the file to your hard drive ("Save Target As..." in Microsoft Internet Explorer, "Save Link As" in Mozilla Firefox). The movies are all WMV format because ... well ... Windows Movie Maker comes with Windows XP ;-)
- Movie 1 -- This video was taken on a day when the tracker was lagging terribly. At this point in the day, however, the tracker appeared to be behaving normally once again. Once the tracker's normality was established, Dmitry and Andy started testing the HUD, which shows player status items such as number of lives, number of missiles, and number of points. Once it was established that the HUD wasn't working as intended, Andy started showing off a bit. Don had gone with Arun to go grab a couple pizzas, as we were all in for a long night. You may need to turn the volume up pretty high if you can't hear the audio.
- Movie 2 -- Testing of release candidates. When this video was made, RC1 was the most stable, and we were considering using it for our presentation. We have a brief discussion about the particle effects on the balls and, when satisfied with the results of that discussion, prepare to present Don with Release Candiate 2. As with Movie 1, you may need to turn the volume up pretty high if you can't hear the audio, but when you see a Windows XP desktop toward the end, turn it down really quick because Don talks right next to the camera.
