About

The SAGE2 team is demo’ing SAGE2 during the SC17 research exhibition, booth #1653 (Center for Data Intensive Science/Open Commons Consortium Booth).

For those attending SC17, come see firsthand SAGE2 v3’s many new and advanced features, and talk with the key developers:

* SAGE2Cloud: create and manage SAGE2 server instances in Docker containers
* JupyterLab plugin: link your science workflows with SAGE2 using the next version of Jupyter
* Performance monitoring: monitor performance of your server and display clients
* A user management system
* Unity3D apps (WebGL export)
* Remote collaboration features: remote view, remote pointers
* Voice commands
* Better webviews and user interface

These new features will all be reviewed during the SAGE2 BOF on Thursday, November 16, Room: 503-504, Colorado Convention Center.

Unfortunately, the BOF will take place during the last few hours of the exhibition, so we want to make you aware of the new features now so you have time to come see demos and talk to development team members from University of Illinois at Chicago and University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Exhibition show hours are:

* Tuesday, November 14: 10am - 6pm
* Wednesday, November 15: 10am - 6pm
* Thursday, November 16: 10am - 3pm

For those who are not at SC17, we will be posting the BOF presentation and supporting videos of the more advanced features after the conference.
