MARCH 9, 2010 - You’re in the far depths of space and turn your head to see you’re rapidly approaching Mars. You glide over the rocky surface with the glaring light of stars in the background. Each head movement manipulates the world around you as you tour the outer limits of space from within your home. You can get this 3-D view of Mars right here in Chicago, and you can do it without the often mocked 3-D glasses. Researchers at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Electronic Visualization Laboratory are working to deliver a glasses free 3-D to the public…
