Tom DeFanti and Dan Sandin, co-Directors of the Electronic Visualization Laboratory and inventors of the CAVE, ImmersaDesk and other virtual reality devices have been selected as UIC Inventors of the Year 2000. Monday, May 15th, noon during Tech Day 2000 marked the celebration where they were honored by their colleagues, students and the University at large.
